Still on Vacation!

Hi friends!
I am still recovering from my busy holiday season! Sorry I haven't been updating my site, I just haven't touched my sewing machine in a month! My son actually said, "Mom you know something you haven't done in a long time...sew!" I think we all need a little break:). I am pregnant and moving in the Spring, so I will be very occupied with the move.
If you have a custom order request, please let me know...I will be happy to dust off my sewing machine for you! :)

Christmas is coming....

20 more days until Christmas! I'm a little behind on my shopping and sewing, however trying to keep the spirit of Christmas and the true meaning of Christmas as my focus!!

October break brings rest!

I have taken a nice long week without projects and it's been a wonderful break! It's great to give yourself a rest every once in a while. It's good for the creative mind! Here are some of my latest projects that I've created for myself :)...

TPCA Auction

The Traders Point Christian Academy Auction is November 6. I've been busy creating a few items to donate to the auction. This one is a little different then my norm, however it was fun to make.

Vacation is Over :(

Summer vacation has come to and end and we are back to our routines. I already miss the days of relaxing at home with my kids. This does, however, give me more time to put my creation ideas into practice. I have been enjoying doing custom orders. This is a good way for you to be involved in the creation process and I'm always up for a new challenge:) Feel free to browse my blog and if you see something you would like for me to create for you, let me know!


Check out the Hello Kitty outfit I made for my little niece's birthday. She's a big Hello Kitty fan. Creating the applique on the shirt was my favorite part. It was like creating the pieces for a puzzle and then putting the puzzle together...great fun!Here's another outfit I created for my niece's birthday...I hope she likes it!

New ideas

These are some fun new things I've been working on this Summer! I am loving having the time to create new things and explore with beautiful fabrics! Let me know if you see anything on the site that you would like for me to recreate!

These are a couple of my daughter's new outfits. I've been trying to make a few things for her to wear to school. I can't believe the Summer is almost over:(

These are my new favorite dresses that I made for myself. They look great with leggins or skinny jeans or even worn solo on a hot summer day!

I can't get enough of seeing my cutie wearing this! I'll post a picture of her in it soon:)

My wonderful friend, Amy, helped me with this creation. Thanks Amy...I love sewing with you! We had a fun sewing day together and created journals for special people in our lives. This one is for my niece.






I am loving this laminated fabric! This bag is great for the pool and large enough to fit all of our towels and other items necessary for a day of fun!

One of these purses will be donated for an upcoming silent auction...still can't decide which one to donate!

Welcome Summer!!

Hello friends,
I'm talking a little break from Custom Orders this summer. If you are interested in something available, let me know! If you have a special request, please let me know and I can get going on it when I can. The summer is my time to relax with my family and get re-energized. I'm sure I will be making somethings while coming up with some new ideas and designs. I can't take too long of a break from creating new things!

My Labels and Business Card

My labels came in the other day! I love how they turned out!!! I love them so much that I have been putting them on the outside of my creations:)                                                                                      

After I designed the labels, I found an amazing, local creator/web designer to create this site, and my business cards. I am so happy with the results and am very thankful that I found her! Thanks Sunee!
